External Insulation & Finish Systems

Multichem manufactures Thermal Insulation and Finishing Systems under the HeatShield products range consisting of drainage products, finishing products, insulation boards, and fibre cloths. For cold season, apart from the enormous savings in heating energy, an Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) solution like our external thermal insulation composite system also significantly increases the comfort of a building, providing a cozy and healthier environment (higher internal wall temperature and dry internal walls; cooler in summer, warm in winter; cost savings through smaller heating systems). In addition, there is clearly less building damage (smaller temperature variations in the external wall construction, no damages due to condensation of dampness), which increases the value of the property considerably. 

The installation of Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) can make the construction of buildings less expensive as well. The external walls can be built from the least expensive building materials and the wall thickness can be reduced to the necessary minimum dimension, saving costs and increasing the living space inside the building. Therefore, thermal insulation is a reasonable and sensible investment not only in new buildings but in particular a good renovation measure, especially if the facade has to be renovated anyway.
