Seamate

The marine environment is full of harmful organisms that create drag and corrosion, costing you time and money. Multichem has developed SeaMate range of fouling control products offering exceptional clean hull performance for up to 90 months. Our products are targeted to reduce fuel consumption by up to 8% and significantly reduce time in dry dock. No matter what you are up against, we have fouling control products that are right for your fleet and your business. Whether at sea or in dock, every minute counts. That’s why it’s crucial to ensure an instant supply of high-quality, consistent coatings – anywhere and anytime you need them. We deliver coatings that not only protect in the harshest of conditions but also easy to apply. They provide industry-leading performance in fuel-saving and antifouling based on time driven technological development as per todays’ requirement in the marine industry. If your vessel is being built, under maintenance in dry dock, or at sea, you can count on our proven coatings to cover all your needs.

Following are the products designed for different application.

MultiPox MetaPrime 1200
Universal anticorrosive epoxy primer coating with wet and rust tolerant properties
Universal anticorrosive epoxy primer/coating for protecting boottop, interiors, superstructures, topsides, underwater hulls and water ballast tanks Suitable for application at new-build, in dry dock and for onboard maintenance All-year-round application, 80% VS IMO PSPC type-approved as a water ballast tank coating,
SeaMate Primer-311 is our premium primer. It is specially designed to suit modern shipyard building practices and provide long-term anticorrosive protection for harsh conditions. It is ideal for use on water ballast tanks and is compliant with IMO PSPC class approval. Product can also be overcoated with virtually all other coating types, such as epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, alkyd, chlorinated rubber, vinyl and other fire retardant coatings.

High active self polishing antifouling for deep sea and coastal vessels, 66% vol solid. PRODUCTS CHARACTERISTICS
• Antifouling providing excellent value for commercial marine use
• Fouling protection based on wide spectrum biocide composition
• Based on long and successful technology track record
• Compatible with a wide range of anticorrosive underwater hull systems
• Suitable on coated steel hulls on seagoing vessels, workboats and barges

SeaMate ActiveShield 321 – two component, is an advanced fouling defence coating based on advanced hydrogel silicone and an efficient fouling preventing biocide. This boosts the antifouling barrier and prolongs the fouling free period. SeaMate ActiveShield 321 therefore possesses a high fuel saving potential and is also suitable for vessels operating with long service intervals (up to 90 months) and/or very long idle periods (up to 120 days).

Silicon based two component-Low friction, self lubricating, linear self polishing high activity performance antifouling based on hydrolysable binder composition. CHARACTERISTICS
• Designed for all vessel types and speeds and particularly effective for slow steaming because of its engineered oils binder composition
• Evolves in a linear polishing and consistent biocide release for predictable performance up to 90 months
• Designed for broad range of vessel operational profiles
• Constant surface activity, limited leach layer build-up
• Low friction properties from lubricating engineered oils surpressing turbulent flow
• Extended idle days through the release effect of engineered oils creating a slippery surface
• High volume solids for efficient application
• Suitable for application at New Build and Dry Dockings
