Cementitious Skim Coats: Wallshine
WALLSHINE is a single component polymer modified ready-to-use wall finishing putty/ skim coat ideally suited for leveling and finishing of concrete, plastered wall and ceilings by hand application or trowelling.
WALLSHINE is based on an advanced co-polymer, graded sand, white cement along with active ingredients, which when mixed with water produces a high strength waterproofing finishing coat. Once applied the coat has excellent resistance to wash out and cures rapidly to form dense impermeable matrix with high diffusing resistance to oxygen, acid gases and chloride ion. The smooth finish gives better look to interiors and exteriors.
Product Description
When mixed with the calculated amount of water, WALLSHINE provides the following properties:
- Excellent adhesion in dry, damp, or permanently wet conditions to both concrete and steel.
- Higher compressive and tensile strength.
- High abrasion resistance.
- Low water permeability due to ongoing pozzolanic reactions, resulting in a dense matrix.
- Enhanced resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, alkalis, and dilute acids.
- Low shrinkage.
- Non-corrosive to steel, with high inherent alkalinity.
- Easy application, allowing high application thickness in both vertical and horizontal situations.
- No primer or bonding coat required. Surfaces can be painted directly after WALLSHINE.
- Better paint coverage due to reduced absorption compared to other wall putties.
