    Cementitous Waterproofing Coatings

Concrete gets affected with water seepage throgh cracks and capillaries, which may get generated during the life cycle of structure. A perfect waterproofing system is needed to stop water from getting in, and from damaging rebar in the concrete. An effective cementitious waterproofing system maintains the durability of the structure. Multiguard range of cementitous coatings are designed to perform as a damp prooofing to waterproofing under high waterpressures.

    Crystalline Waterproofing: Hydronil

Hydronil is about quality hydrophilic crystalline technologies that assure a watertight concrete. Treatments with Hydronil technologies begin as a surface-applied slurry, dry shake, or as an admixture and work as a catalyst to create a reaction between un-hydrated cement particles and water within the concrete. This reaction over time creates billions of pin-like crystals to fill the pores and capillaries. The process will continue as long as water and cement particles are present.

Unlike traditional waterproofing membranes that degrade over time, Hydronil’s crystalline technology integrates with the concrete matrix, ensuring long-term durability and self-sealing capabilities. Whenever water enters the structure, the active chemicals in Hydronil continue to react, forming additional crystals that block the passage of moisture. This feature provides continuous protection, making it ideal for below-grade structures, water treatment facilities, tunnels, basements, and marine environments.

    Elastomeric Waterproofing Coatings

Elastomeric wall coatings are ready to us waterproofing layer designed to be applied in very thick films (about 10 times as thick as regular paints); they are tough and flexible, and stretch as cracks underneath open and close, thus bridging the cracks and keeping water out while maintaining a nice appearance if they are exposed. Because of flexibility, they are more suited where substrate is expected to develop cracks in the future or has high thermal expantion and contraction. They can be tinted to a light color. The suitable areas of applications are podium, terraces, balconies, below tile bedding etc.

  • polyurea waterproofing

    Hand Applied Polyurea Waterproofing

Hand-applied polyurea waterproofing is a liquid, two-component coating applied manually to create a seamless, flexible membrane. It offers rapid curing, superior chemical, abrasion, and temperature resistance. Ideal for detailed areas or smaller applications, it provides reliable protection against water infiltration and extreme conditions. It’s uses are expanding due to its seamless and fast-curing properties. Organizations like the Polyurea Development Association (PDA) provide valuable resources on formulation advancements and best application practices. This method is suitable for applications such as water tanks, basements, and roofs requiring precise, custom application.

    HDPE Membranes

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) membranes are advanced waterproofing solutions designed for demanding applications such as basements, below-grade, and above-grade concrete structures. These membranes feature a pre-applied pressure-sensitive adhesive, available with sand or liner finishes, ensuring a strong bond with poured concrete. Their weather-resistant protective coating enhances durability, while their ability to withstand substrate settlement ensures long-term performance. HDPE membranes effectively prevent water ingress, making them ideal for terraces, roofs, sunken slabs, and basements where structural movement or cracks are anticipated.

    Intergral Waterproofing Admixtures

Concrete is an inexpensive, readily available, versatile, strong material available for more than 100 years. But, it is also a hard sponge; hydrophilic and soaks up water. A waterproofing system is needed to stop water from getting in, and from damaging rebar in the concrete. An integral waterproofing system is the most economical, effective and an environmentally-friendly alternative to membrane waterproofing.

    Miscellaneous Waterproofing Products

Concrete although being strong , it is also a hard sponge; hydrophilic and soaks up water. Special tratments are needed with special type of waterproofing materials. Multiguard Crystal and Primeshield are products, react with concrete to forms billions of crystals thus plugging porosity. Being in liquid, product can easily be sprayed and brush applied on properly prepared surface. Multiguard EP and AquaBlock are epoxy based, but water dilutable products with high bond strength. Being water based epoxy, they can be applied on wet/damp surface.

    Polyurethane Waterproofing

Polyurethane waterproofing is a highly effective and durable solution for preventing water infiltration in both residential and commercial buildings. This liquid membrane forms a seamless, flexible coating that bonds tightly to a variety of surfaces, ensuring long-term protection against leaks and moisture. It is ideal for applications such as roofs, balconies, and terraces, providing resistance to harsh weather conditions, UV rays, and foot traffic.

    Primers

Primers are essential for preparing surfaces before applying polyurea and polyurethane waterproofing systems. They enhance adhesion, seal pores, and create a uniform base for optimal coating performance. Suitable for concrete, cement, and other substrates, primers ensure a durable and seamless waterproofing application. This step improves the longevity and effectiveness of the waterproofing system.

    PVC Membranes

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) geo membranes are single-layer waterproofing solutions featuring two distinct layers: a light-colored layer on one side and a black layer on the other. The light-colored layer aids in identifying any damage during application, ensuring precise installation. PVC membranes are highly effective in waterproofing tunnels, foundations, and underground sections of buildings and structures. They offer long-term cost savings by reducing the need for remediation, repairs, maintenance, or replacement over the project’s lifespan. These membranes are designed to provide superior waterproofing performance in demanding environments, making them a reliable choice for complex construction projects.

    SBS Membranes

Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) membranes are high-performance waterproofing materials widely used in construction for their flexibility, durability, and weather resistance. These elastomeric bitumen membranes are reinforced with polyester or fiberglass, offering exceptional tensile strength and adaptability to structural movements. SBS membranes are ideal for flat roofs, terraces, basements, and below-grade structures, providing excellent protection against water ingress and harsh environmental conditions. Their ease of application and compatibility with various surfaces make them a preferred choice for both new constructions and renovations.

  • Spray Applied Polyurea Waterproofing

Spray-applied polyurea waterproofing is a fast-curing, seamless solution that provides superior protection against water infiltration. It forms a durable, flexible, and elastic membrane, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and harsh environmental conditions. Ideal for both new and retrofit applications, it bonds effectively to various substrates like concrete and steel. Its rapid application and ability to bridge cracks make it a versatile choice for waterproofing roofs, basements, terraces, and more.
