The “MetaPrime & Rustoblock Coatings” are the first line of defence from corrosion of metal. If we also want to create a protection against corrosion, to cover irregularities and small defects, the primers are the solution. Wide range of primers give option to choose from normal corrosive enviroment to very harsh conditions. 

Orgnaic and inorganic zinc rich primers, acrylic water borne primers, epoxy primers, polyurethane primers are some of the range available for protection. One component primers are quick drying, perfect for filling small irregularietes. Shop primers fast drying phosphate primers with excellent adhesion to steel, galvanized, zinc coated, polished sheet metel, aluminium, copper and bronze, where as zinc rich primers are used in aggressive and marine environments.

Two component primers are either based on thick coat epoxy-polyamide primer or acrylic. Two compoent epoxy primers are used as an intermediate layer to achieve increased corrosion protection and film thickness. It has a high content of anti-corrosion pigment and zinc phosphate. 

With this we manage to create a high layer of corrosion protection. In addition, it has excellent adhesion on all types of metals. It is widely used for the protection of agricultural, industrial, marine, mining and industrial vehicle machinery, etc.

Two-component thick coat acrylic primers have good adhesion on all types of metals and can be repainted with all types of finishes. Ideal for the protection of agricultural, industrial, marine, mining and industrial vehicle machinery, etc.

Two component water borne epoxy primer, salt spray upto 2300 hours, 65 microns thick demonstrated excellent adhesion and anticorrosion performance to a wide range of substrates. That included challenging non-blasted surfaces commonly used in automotive and agricultural and machinery equipment. More specifically primer is effective on untreated cold rolled steel, aluminum alloy, galvanized steel, and stainless steel panels. System successfully withstood long exposure of over 1500 hours in the salt spray cabinet. Rustoblock ECO-10 also did very well on blasted steel surfaces as encountered in marine and protective coating applications. These coating demonstrated good surface tolerance by providing excellent corrosion protection even over rusted panels. Primer is tested at low film thickness and is suitable options as primers, midcoats and direct-to-metal (DTM) coatings.
