Admixtures
Admixtures are used in new construction or repair work to improve workability, modify setting time, and make the concrete mix more cohesive and compact. These additives enhance the performance of concrete by increasing durability, strength, and resistance to environmental factors such as moisture, heat, and freeze-thaw cycles—ensuring long-lasting results. They also help reduce shrinkage, control cracking, and improve bonding with reinforcement, making concrete more reliable for various structural and industrial applications. MULTIPLAST® N
Multiplast N is a normal plasticizer used for low to medium grade (M35) concrete. It is based on processed lignosulphonates and is supplied as a brown liquid. Generally, cement particles tend to clump together, and Multiplast N works by improving the dispersion of the agglomerates within the concrete mix, which ensures that the cement is used more efficiently. It improves cohesion, reduces the risk of segregation and bleeding, and reduces laitance and permeability. An increase in denseness will improve durability and resistance to attack by aggressive agents compared to control mixes. Multiplast N plasticizer is a low-cost water reducer, which can be used to achieve one or a combination of benefits.
Uses: Used in low to medium grade concrete to improve workability, compressive strength, and waterproofing.
Dosage: 100–200 ml per 50 kg cement bag

MULTIPLAST® SUPER
MULTIPLAST® SUPER is a special category of water-reducing agent, manufactured from materials that allow much greater water reduction or, alternatively, extreme workability of the concrete into which it is incorporated. This is achieved without undesirable side effects such as excessive air entrainment or set retardation.
MULTIPLAST® SUPER is used as a high-range water-reducing admixture (superplasticizer) for concrete. It increases both early and 28-day strength when the benefit of water reduction is utilized. It is suitable for precast concrete work and prestressed concrete.
It improves cohesion, aiding in the pumping of concrete, and facilitates rapid placement with little or no vibration. The resulting concrete is denser, enhancing watertightness and durability.
Uses: The use of MULTIPLAST® SUPER may produce high-strength concrete (compressive strength up to 22,000 psi). Superplasticizers can also be utilized in producing flowing concrete used in heavily reinforced structures with inaccessible areas. Requirements for producing flowing concrete are defined in ASTM C1017.

MULTIPLAST® POWERSET® 100
Multiplast® Powerset® 100, Concrete Set Accelerator, is a ready-to-use liquid admixture designed for plain cement, concrete, and mortar. It accelerates the initial setting time to one to three times faster than normal mortar and concrete. Multiplast® Powerset® 100 improves workability and strength while hastening the hydration of cement. It makes the mix easier to place and speeds up construction by shortening the initial set and curing time. Time and labor are saved, as forms and other protection can be removed earlier and finishing can begin sooner.
Multiplast® Powerset® 100 is especially suited for cold conditions where cement hydration is typically reduced. This set-accelerating admixture is ideal for tile, precast, and block-making industries where early strength development is essential.
Dosage: 300–1200 gm per 50 kg cement bag
